With the Expo 2005 held in Aichi, Japan, the unique food culture of Aichi and Nagoya, collectively known as ``Nagoya Meshi'', has gained recognition nationwide, and has been featured on television, magazines, etc. It has started to be covered by many mass media.
Under these circumstances, the Nagoya Meshi Expo, a migratory eating event, has been held since 2011, and in 2014, Aichi Prefecture and Nagoya City jointly established Nagoya Meshi as a regional brand. There is an urgent need to position Nagoya Yamushi as a distinctive tourism resource of the region and to promote it, such as by holding a ``Nagoya Meshi PR Roundtable'' to consider methods for strategically promoting it.
Therefore, the government and related organizations will work together to establish the ``Nagoya Mushi Popularization Promotion Council'' in order to attract tourists from Japan and abroad through PR and promotion of the appeal of Nagoya Mushi.
Misokatsu, Tebasaki Chicken Wings, Hitsumabushi, and other dishes unique to the region have been widely accepted and loved in Nagoya and its surrounding areas, and are widely eaten at homes and restaurants. In the future, if it becomes popular and widely accepted at many restaurants in the area, it is possible that it will become a new ``Nagomeshi.'' This is something that everyone who loves Nagoya Meshi can cultivate.
``Nagoya Concierge'' and ``Aichi Now'' are useful for information on various sightseeing spots in Aichi and Nagoya, not just Nagoya Meshi.
We introduce many highlights including events, shopping, accommodation, and of course gourmet information. Please enjoy your trip to the fullest.
