Super spicy ramen born in Nagoya that is not found in Taiwan
Nagoya's original ramen is a spicy version of Taiwanese danzi noodles. It is topped with spicy minced meat stir-fried with chili peppers and garlic, and the other main ingredients are chives and bean sprouts. The soup is chicken based and refreshing. As a side note, similar cup noodles are sold in Taiwan as "Nagoya Ramen."
Origin
It began around the 40s when the founder of the Taiwanese restaurant ``Ajisen'' in Nagoya City created it as a side dish for his employees. We started offering it to customers in response to requests from regulars, and it became a regular menu item.
Popularity
It caught on with the spicy boom of the 50s. It has spread to Nagoya City and Aichi Prefecture, and is said to be used at about half of Chinese restaurants and ramen restaurants. Bag noodles and cup noodles made by food manufacturers are also standard at supermarkets and souvenir shops.
The spiciness is addictive, and many people are addicted to it. Many arranged menus have been created, including Taiwanese mazesoba.
