Ankake Spaghetti
The sauce is characterized by its thickness, similar to Japanese or Chinese ``an'', and the spiciness of pepper. The noodles are typically very thick, with a diameter of 2.2 mm, and are coated by frying them in lard after boiling. The most popular dish is ``Miracan,'' which is a combination of ham-based Milanese and vegetable-based country, with a variety of toppings.

Origin
The founder of ``Spaghetti House Yokoi'' invented it in the 30s, inspired by Italian home cooking. The name Ankake Spaghetti was born in the 50s. ``Karame-tei'' was mentioned during a TV interview, and the name soon became established.
Popularity
There are many specialty stores in Aichi Prefecture, and there are many examples of their use in coffee shops and Western restaurants.
